Albert Roberts Memorial Library

WinterWindowThe Albert Roberts Memorial Library is dedicated to the late Dr. Albert R. Roberts, a professor in the Program in Criminal Justice for many years who is most well-known for his work in the fields of social work and crisis intervention. Many of his publications and much of his research is used today, both in and outside of the Program in Criminal Justice.

The library is located in Lucy Stone Hall in the conference room of the Program in Criminal Justice. All students are welcome to visit the library Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Students are able to check out library books and resources, excluding media materials (DVD’s and VHS tapes), copies of student’s independent study projects, and copies of student’s honors thesis research papers. The library is stocked with several media materials, and the conference room is equipped with a DVD/VHS player connected to a flat-screen television: students are prohibited from checking out media materials, but students are welcome to watch media materials in the conference room. (Based on availability of C.J. staff. Students are encouraged to make an appointment in advance.) A list of all library books, resources, and media materials can be found below.
